Itinerary

JUNE 29th

​

• Day 1 - Departure - 07h00

Your Driver will pick you up from your hotel in Johannesburg at around 07h00 am for a 4 - 5 hours Drive to SOUTHERN Kruger 

You will make a stop for breakfast 2 hours out of Johannesburg,  and then continue for another 2 or 3 hours.

There will be a few more rest stops to stretch your legs, use restrooms and grab snacks or/ and beverages

Expected entry time -around 12h00

1st Game Drive - Closed Vehicle

Your Safari Game Drive will start as soon as you enter the park moving towards Pretoriouskop Rest Camp.

You will check in at your air conditioned chalet where you will relax, enjoy nature walks,

have lunch and coolers at the camps restaurant,

or visit Curio Shops for memorabilia.

2nd Safari Game Drive - 16h00 - 19h30  - Open Safari Vehicle

Your second game drive will start at 16h00 on an Open Safari Vehicle and end at around 19h00.

On this drive you get the experience the African bush as the sunsets when it is most active and you also stand a chance to see

nocturnal animals on your way back to the camp as it will be almost dark.

Dinner will be served upon your return - A Delicious south African Braai/Barbecue under the African starlit sky ( if weather permits).

Alternatively you will have an option to choose from a variety of items from the camp's Restaurant menu.

JUNE 30th

​

Day 2  -  Morning Drive  ( 3 hours) - Open Safari Vehicle

Your day 2 drive will start at 07h00 with a hearty breakfast, then a game drive between 08h00 and 11h00.

Your guide will take various routes and trails and visit a few waterholes in search of Big Cats. Stops will be made for rest rooms.

You can spend the rest of your morning relaxing, dipping your feet in the pool, exploring the camp, shopping, taking nature walks

or spotting game at a restaurant overlooking a river or dam.

 

Afternoon Drive - ( 3 hours) - Open Safari Vehicle  - 16h00 - 19h00

Your Sunset Drive will start at around 4 pm and will last for 3 hours.

This will be followed by another Delicious dinner and cocktails(optional).

JULY 1st  

​

Day 3  - Morning drive and exit - Closed Vehicle ( 5th Safari Game Drive)

You final day will start at 07h00 with another hearty breakfast and coffee .

You will exit the camp at 8 am and do one more game drive in a closed vehicle as you make your way towards the exit.

 

Panorama Route - You'll start off at Three Rondavels, then Burkes Potholes and finish off with a waterfall

Lunch will be at the charming little town of  Graskop where you will enjoy a delicious meal at the iconic Harries Pancakes.- (own account)
